I only wish Scot Harvath had more scenes earlier in the book. Brad's writing is so good it's hard not to rate it higher. But in all honesty, the emotional resonance was lower in this one compared with the other books. Not completely absent, just lower. I was disappointed in the Take Down book by the cliff hanger ending. It was unnecessary and makes it less likely that I will want to read the next book in the series as I already know what its likely to be about, revenge.
