Brown Paper School book: Blood and Guts (1976)

I would probably use this book in a 5th or 6th grade class. The pictures are not always very detailed, so it might requiring some higher level inferring skills to use the illustrations to help with understanding the content. ( )

Comically graphical, suprisingly well detailed, a concise but interesting look at human biology. Good for kids, but a good quick reference for adults too. The cartoon graphics aren't always the clearest. ( )
