This ain't no Disney....this was written well before the PC police landed on Book planet. This story of Aladdin takes place in China, our little hero is a lazy child who is kidnapped by an uncle, this uncle try's to use Aladdin to get the lamp, but he is falls short and he leaves Aladdin to die. Terrible Genie to the rescue and Aladdin heads home to mom where they use genie to become rich and prosperous. Aladdin spies on the beautiful Princess Buddir al Baddoor, from behind the door of the bath. When Aladdin learns that there is a competitor for the heart of the Princess he has genie chain him up in a dark, dismal place. Aladdin knocks on the front door of the Sultans house to ask for the Princess' hand in marriage while his forty slaves throw handfuls of gold to the crowds in the street. The marriage deal is struck and they move into a magic castle next door provided by genie, complete with gardens, stables and horses, and servants and slaves. Aladdin and the Princess live happily until his uncle comes back on the scene, he tricks the Princess into giving him the lamp, she and the palace disappear. When the Sultan learns about it he threatens to have Aladdin's head cut off. With a little help from genie, Aladdin is reunited with his wife and they hatch a plan to poison the uncle and take the lamp back, and they lived happily ever after. I like this little book, they don't write um' like this any more:) ( ) sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
