I recieved this book through Early Reviewers in exchange for an honest review. I quite enjoyed this book, even though its about horrible murders and murderers. It contained stories both known and unknown to me and written in a way that made it an interesting read.

The book is lengthy at 600 pages but it does cover 84 cases. The dates range from the 1920's to the 1990's. I enjoyed how the cases were straightforward and covered enough details that were necessary to describe each crime. I enjoy true crime books but do find them overly long as so much unnecessary details are added. This book had just enough detail and to the point to make it much easier to understand the crimes and the motives behind them. I would recommend this book to any aficionado of fans of true crime books. It will not disappoint.

A large collection of short true but vicious crime stories ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s (if you've read this series all along, it's just a compilation of Volume 1-7). Many stories are solved, many are not, but quite a few are unknown even to the most avid true crime reader. This collection is a starting point for readers to find cases to search for additional or more in-depth works. It's easy to start and stop or to read in one sitting.
