The Fire Thief Fights Back is just as good as the other books in the trilogy. In this book Prometheus steps up and fights back. When the Avenger goes back to Greece he recruits some of the not so nice monsters from back in the day. He brings back each monster that will bring Prometheus closer to his doom. But also Zeus comes to save and help Prometheus. He fights all of the monsters while Prometheus follows and tells him how to defeat each of them. In this book Prometheus faces the Avenger and is maybe blown to smithereens. But who knows maybe he will survive the Avenger a.k.a. Death.

This book is the best one in the trilogy. This is when Prometheus faces Avenger and has the fight of his life. He fights the Minotaur, a giant snake, and a couple other monsters. He has to face many challenges, and passes all of them except one. He passes al of them except one. Finding the human hero, he has passed a lot. But he won't survive the rest. Avenger has found him now and is now going to destroy him. Normally you would expect him to plea for his life, but he willingly accepts his doom.

This book was awesome! I've read the other two book s when I was in grade 4, and I just remembered it recently. Now I remember why I liked it so much! Very, very exciting! Except some parts are pretty predictable. The little footnotes are also quite funny! I love reading those! So, Theus is back with the Avenger close on his tail again, but this time, he meets Sam Wonder! The Avenger has also brought friends. All the monsters from ancient greece. Oh how nice! ( )
