Van Schuyler com sua prima Cornelia Robson e sua enfermeira srta. Bowes, Andrew Pennington, Jim Fanthorp, Rosalie Otterbourne e sua mãe, Signor Guido Richetti, sr. Ferguson, dr. Bessner, Coronel Race e Poirot. Como podem ver, bastante gente. Incrivelmente, Agatha consegue dar uma função e justificar a presença de quase todos eles na história, excetuando Ferguson e Richetti que parece que foram colocados ali somente para confundir um pouco mais o leitor e justificar e presença de outro personagem. Outro ponto interessante é que mais de um crime é descoberto nesse livro além do assassinato, o que ajuda a desviar a atenção do leitor dele. Um livro bom da Agatha. Linnet Rideway es una joven agraciada y millonaria que lo posee todo. Su amiga, Jacqueline de Bellefort, no menos hermosa aunque pobre, sólo tiene amor de su prometido Simon Doyle.
