The book is about daddy bear trying to put baby bear to sleep and "can't" find him. Daddy bear is looking all over and finally finds him on his shoulders. This family of bears would not have a house like people do, or dress in real clothes, making it hard to be anything but fantasy. The theme of the book about the hide and seek game is a stroke of genius and it is very fun to see when the father bear will choose to "see" his son atop his shoulders.
