A cute little book with pictures of adorable dogs that shows just how opposite they can be. For example, there are photos of good dogs as well as bad dogs, etc. I think that small children would enjoy looking at these cute doggies. ( )

I received this book to review thinking my great nephew would like it and it is a hit. Just looking at the adorable dogs is all he does now but when he gets a little older learning his opposites will be fun too. ( )

This is a funny away to teach toddlers the visually meaning of opposites. The pictures are cute and very colorful enough to engage babies. ( )

Grace Graham's Big Dog Little Dog is a book designed to help children from birth to two recognize and understand opposites. In order to accomplice this, it is customary to have 2 objects on the same page for a comparison to made like the picture on the cover. It would be more meaningful for a toddler to see the fat dog next to the thin dog in order for the child to see the relationship between these attributes. On a more positive note, Graham's dog pictures are whimsical and beautiful. "Dog" happened to be both of my children's first word. Toddlers love dogs. I think this book might not teach what it was intended to teach, but it would still be very appealing to children of this age. ( )

BIG DOG, LITTLE DOG by Grace Graham shows the little ones the opposites. Using different breeds of dogs shows them that there is more than one type of dog and it compares the dogs to each other to show the meaning of the words. Cute read. ( )
