Software specialist Cynthia Williams has a wonderful relationship with attorney David Daniels until they make plans to marry. Cynthia resents David for urging her to quit her job and start preparing to be a mother. He also discourages her from finding her birth parents, believing that it will distract her from the wedding. But how can she plan her future when she knows so little of her past? David may have his differences with his fiancee, but he knows she's the one for him. But when he postpones the wedding date because of a new case, Cynthia begins to wonder if it can work.
