This series is one of my personal faves, and amusingly enough I saw a copy in my local grocery store the other day. I was so excited and pointed it out... I probably looked crazy.

Anywho, this time around we get to learn about Michelle Obama! I love women getting their time to shine in these books, especially really cool women! Michelle is the height of cool these days with the amazing work she's been able to do. Seeing Michelle's story come to life in this book was really awesome. It helped bring light to her early days, not just her philanthropy work.

I do think the illustrations are kind of weird, but I do like the colours they present. They make Michelle look... really weird. And she's a beautiful woman! So the images making her look strange felt... off.

This is a series to help get young readers into non-fiction and learning about famous, intelligent or popular people. I highly recommend picking up these books as they have engaging illustrations and tell quite the tell.
