Roy's social circle widens as he, Jin, and their cameraman find a way to increase the visibility and sales of the Boys Run the Riot brand. Ryo finds strength to accept his gender and share it with others, while a new ally expands the crews' (and the audience's) definition of gender and sexuality. As Boys Run the Riot seek to rebrand themselves, a new enemy enters the fray. This is a wonderfully complex story that tackles the pressure of social media personas; gender euphoria; learning to trust the journey. ( )

Tsubasa's video gives Boys Run the Riot sale, but the cost falls on Ryo. Outed without his permission, Ryo has a lot on his plate, stuff he wasn't at all ready for, both privately and professionally. Tsubasa may also find aspects of their life in need of change as well.

Well, with the ending we got in Volume 2, you kind of had to know Volume 3 was going to be interesting. This volume focuses more on Tsubasa, which is needed, and of course how Ryo deals with being outed at school.

I did have a bit of an issue with the speech bubbles... sometimes they felt super huge and sometimes I had to backtrack a bit to figure out who was talking since other characters would be on the panel but an out-of-panel character would be talking.

I did like how the boy talked about what their clothing brand meant to them. It made the story more interesting.

I'm still excited to continue reading the series and can't wait to get my hands on the next volume. ( )

Still liking the story despite some storytelling stumbles: a couple major characters going unnamed in the entire book, an annoying secondary character outing and then stealing attention from the main character, awkward dialogue here and there throughout. Still coming back for more though. ( )
