Petra is back with her old boyfriend, Marc, since Galen has rejoined his army under special assignment. It's getting harder for Petra to hide her gift from her friends and the Gods. New prophecies are out, the war is starting up again and Medusa is about to have her baby! Add to that Galen reappears and he's not alone. With him comes more trouble with the New Gods sending investigators looking for Galen and the prisoner he brought with him. Petra is still with Marc but still has strong feelings for Galen. Will Petra be able to end the war this time? Who will Petra choose - Galen or Marc? I loved how the MASH family came together to help Petra and Galen. I was happy with the ending. Overall a good read and one I'd recommend. Werewolves of London by Angie Fox is the final novel in The Monster MASH trilogy. While this paranormal tale can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the series in order. It will give you a better understanding of the characters and what is happening. Angie Fox has given us another engaging story with unique characters, interesting storyline, and plenty of humor. Everything comes to a head in Werewolves of London. There is plenty going on in this book. Petra’s current boyfriend, Marc is ready for the next step, but Petra has yet to get over Galen. Galen, the former demigod, returns with a wounded dragon shifter who has had dreams of Petra, the one who can see the dead. The cease fire is over which has wounded pouring into the MASH unit. They need to keep Galen and his guest under wraps. Petra will have to trust others if they are going to pull it off. A new prophecy is announced that involves Petra and a bronze weapon. It is time for Medusa’s baby shower and Petra’s attendance is requested (it is not a good idea to say no to a pregnant Gorgon). Medusa will give birth soon and Petra has no idea what to expect. Petra must also figure out which man is the right one for her. I laughed often while reading the Werewolves of London. Medusa’s baby shower and the Gorgon birth were a riot. I enjoy Angie Fox’s conversational writing style which makes her stories a joy to read. The climax was fabulous with a charming ending. Werewolves of London is a diverting tale with outrageous oracles, a crazed chimera, a gorgeous Galen, a wistful werewolf, an offbeat baby shower, a bothersome bronze blade, and puzzling prophecies. I really enjoyed this book! This is the third and final book in the Monster MASH trilogy and I thought it was a fantastic way to wrap up the trilogy. This is a series that I would recommend reading in order. I was a fan of the first two books in the trilogy so I was excited to see what would happen in this installment. I was hooked by this book right away and ended up reading most of the book in a single day. I found this to be a very entertaining story. Petra has a rather complicated life. She can see the dead. She is a physician in a MASH unit for the New God army. Her new boyfriend wants to marry her but she still isn't completely over her last boyfriend. She is the key to all of the prophecies. To top it off, the boyfriend she isn't over is back and he brought someone with him. The war is back in full force and Petra's MASH unit has the patients to prove it. Between caring for the injured, hiding Galen and the dragon he brought with him, and trying to figure out the prophecies, Petra is very busy. The romance plays an important role in this story and I was thrilled that Galen was back. I was never quite on board with her relationship with Mark so I was happy that she might have another chance to be with her true love. This book had plenty of excitement to keep things interesting and I thought that the climax at the end was very well done. I loved the humor that is a key part of the story. Medusa's baby shower was the laugh I didn't know that I needed. This was a fun read that didn't take itself too seriously and I found it to be a really entertaining read. I would definitely recommend this series to others. I received a digital review copy of this book from Moose Island Books via NetGalley. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

There wasn't that much mythology to it; meaning you could have had terrorists or alien invaders instead of old/new gods and mythological creatures. I enjoyed what there was, particularly this last book where Medusa had a baby and a baby shower with very interesting guest list.
Missed a 5-star rating because not really into the romantic doings and resolutions. The grand finale and reveal of what prophecy meant was well done if not that hard to guess based on foreshadowing and the wording of the "final" prophecy. All the plots, subplots and side character storylines wrapped up well. ( )
