Home-Tested Slow Cooker Recipes (Favorite Brand Name Recipes) (edição: 2003)

I love this little cookbook! It's spiral bound. It came from the grocery store. I have made so many of these recipes. It's become my go-to guide when I want to fix a very easy, fix-and-forget-it crock pot meal.

Nothing fancy here. No pictures, either. These are all submitted by home cooks. Lots of cans of cream of mushroom soup in these recipes (though I tend not to make those particular ones). They are also good templates for improvising your own quick meal.

Examples: Slow Cooker Round Steak with Gravy, Succulent Pork Chops, Bobbie's Vegetable Hamburger Soup, Vegetable Beef Soup, Nice 'N Easy Italian Chicken, Orange Chicken (that's just chicken breast, orange pop, and soy sauce!), Minestrone alla Milanese, Caribbean Shrimp with Rice, Cajun Sausage and Rice, Pear Crunch - to name a few!

It seems like when I'm down to just a meat item and a couple of veggies, I can find something in this cookbook to make. Some of my other slow cooker cookbooks require a lot more ingredients. ( )
