In the beginning chapter the author said the target audience is pro-choice people who do not see the fetus as human life. But the rest of the book focus on what the Bible teaches about whether the fetus is human life, and I'm having a hard time seeing pro-choice readers interested in consulting the Bible as a source of authority. I felt the rest of the book was written to someone who is already pro-life. The appendix of the book, which was a transcript of a court testimony of French geneticist Jerome Lejeune on the DNA information in a zygote, presented who I saw as far more convincing and interesting information on whether the zygote qualifies as human life. Highly recommend the appendix over the book. ( ) sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

In this book, Dr. R.C. Sproul employs his unique perspective as a highly experienced pastor-theologian and a trained philosopher to provide well-considered and compassionate answers to the difficult questions that attend termination of pregnancy. Dr. Sproul strives for a factual, well-reasoned approach informed by careful biblical scholarship. He considers both sides of this issue in terms of biblical teaching, civil law, and natural law. This edition includes a new foreword by Dr. George Grant and has been updated to reflect developments in the issue of abortion. Appendixes provide further background on the issue of when life begins and list sources for pro-life resources. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
