Second, this story is poignant. It shows the resilience of love and how just because one thing ends, it doesn't mean that it does. This love story was reminiscent of a circle and shows how there is no end. It is ever-revolving because rebirth comes from everything that does. All the separate parts of the story came together in the best of ways and created a multi-faceted story that moved me to tears, but also gave me hope. Therein lies the beauty of this amazing book. It felt real, every step of the way, and it was beautiful. The Cabin I Picked Up This Book Because: I’ve enjoyed the author’s previous work. Media Type: Digital Source: Kindle Unlimited Stars: 3.5 The Characters: Nadia Bell: Nathan Fischer: Adrian Bell The Story: This is a story of love, loss, rebuilding and moving on. I’m not sure if I really liked it. A lot of it seemed odd but it was well written and I enjoyed the characters and their connection. Their set up was what struck me as odd but also very loving from Adrian’s standpoint. IDK I have a lot of mixed emotions about this one. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
One year ago, I buried my husband. One year ago, I held his hand and said goodbye. Now I spend most of my days lost somewhere between trying to remember every smallest detail of our lives, and trying to forget it all. I fill my hours with work until I'm too exhausted to remember him, to feel anything at all. One year, 365 days and then one knock at my door changes everything. A letter from him, a last request, a secret will: My dearest Nadia, Trust me, my love. One last time, trust me. Sometimes the epilogue to one story is the beginning of another. I liked this story, it was very far-fetched, but interesting and emotional. I cried a few times while reading this (who am I? I don’t cry at books!) but that felt good. I really liked the characters and wanted them to have that happily ever after. I just felt like the premise was what threw me. ( )
