Por parecer tanto com "Pilares da Terra" "Mundo sem Fim" tem seu maior problema. Não é uma história muito original ou surpreendente, é um reflexo atenuado da grandiosidade da obra a que dá sequência.
Se você não leu "Pilares da Terra", é melhor lê-lo que ler "Mundo Sem Fim". Se leu e gostou muito, não perca tempo em começar a ler a continuação. Se não se encantou com "Pilares da Terra" talvez goste menos ainda de "Mundo Sem Fim", mas só lendo para saber. (
