This was a decent collection of scary stories to read and I was able to finish them all in one sitting, which I liked. I was intrigued by the themes and concepts of each story but do think the author could have given more details about certain aspects to the reader. Overall however, I think this would be a great read for those looking to read more horror themed books but wanting to start slow. ( )

These stories all had interesting concepts, but I felt like they weren't explored enough. Also, I wasn't scared, just bored. I would not recommend it. ( )

A solid little collection of five stories that offer exactly what it says on the tin; perfect for reading one just as you fall asleep to guarantee troubled sleep and delicious nightmares. The first four are pretty grim; I found "The Bridge," with its theme of betrayal, especially troubling. The last has a redemptive arc, though it's also pleasantly unpleasant. ( )

A collection of good scary stories with well written storylines and plenty of horror. The stories are short, but very enjoyable. A quick book to read and highly recommended. Ripley knows how to write a good horror story. ( )
