My kids just loved the fact that the animals could talk. This book shows how not only want thing or person is responsible for one thing, they are many roles to every aspect of life. The animals argue over who the garden belong to but in it all it belong to them all. They all play a part in making the garden possible so they all own it. At the end the old lady still didn't know who the garden was for but my kids did, some said the gardener but most said it's for all them, that they have to share. When Mrs. McGee passes through a beautiful garden asking whose it is, the gardener is the first to claim it, followed by all of the garden's inhabitants plus the sun and the rain, who also claim it as their own. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
