The first five issues of the Hidden Years series (starts right after Kings of the Broken Wheel leaves off. This is the real Book 9; Rogue's Challenge is really Book 10). Self-contained stories about what the Wolfriders got up to while waiting for the Palace to reappear. I'm not sure if Wendy literally painted these panels, but it sure looks that way... the art here is jaw-droppingly beautiful -- she really hit a whole new level in these issues. The stories -- especially "Little Patch" and the one about Skywise's birth -- are incredibly moving.
