There were a few stories I loved, and a few I skimmed through to get them over with. But in terms of hype for DA4... well let's just say I literally shook this book in frustration upon finishing the last page. Wish I could hibernate until release day! As with all short story collections, some stories appeal more than others, but overall this is an outstanding collection. The theme is the northern countries of Thedas, lands that haven't been explored in previous books and the games very much. There are tantalizing hints of possible DA4 quests with emphasis on the Crows, the magisters, Quanari, Mortalitasi, and of course, Solas, the assumed antagonist of DA4. All the stories stand on their own as good reading, but I especially enjoyed "Down Among the Dead Men" by Sylvia Feketekuty, "The Wigmaker" by Courtney Woods (true horror story), and "Eight Little Talons" by Courtney Woods (similar to Christie's 'And then There were None'). Of course, I pored over Patrick Weekes "Dread Wolf Take You" story for clues to the next game. It's a good fantasy read, especially for fans of all things Thedas. I just hope we get more to tide us over until the release of DA4. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
