Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. spicy. taboo. cant stop thinking about ( ) To say I am mad at myself for not reading this book sooner would be a severe understatement. For the longest time I let what others thought around the book influence my desire to read it and I am so sad I did. Credence is an amazing story around family trauma and coming into ones own through mistakes, heartache, and loneliness. Sure were there red flags for some of the characters, of course, but that is honestly what made the book more charming in a sense. Was it a little bit overdone in some situations, yes, but it was needed to get the feelings of the characters across and make you understand them as a person more. Penelope does an incredible job making you fall in love with the characters and wanting them to all find their happiness. The relationships between the characters do a great job at helping them grow and change as people and understand more and more what they truly want in life. I would say to anyone thinking of reading this to give it a change, don't let the relationships steer you away from this book and it's incredible story and of course incredible spice. COVER = 4/5 PACE = 3/5 - medium PLOT = 1.5/5 Girl's parents commit suicide. Girl is placed under care of her father's stepbrother, who lives in the mountains of Colorado with his two sons. Girl spends winter hopping from one of their beds to the other, before 'falling in love' with the one who's a very damaged psycho. CHARACTERS = 2/5- although the characters had a bit of depth, i feel like the character growth was really rushed at the end. WORLD BUILDING = 2/5 - mountains of Colorado, LA (kinda) - nothing really special tbh THOUGH i did like the descriptions! ROMANCE = 3/5 - hmm kinda - more towards the end WRITING = 3/5 - it wasnt bad i guess OVERALL =2.5/5 stars sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
