( ) Each page of this book ask the money if he wants something to eat but nothing is right for the money. Till the last page when we get to big old banana tree. This is exactly what the money wanted to eat. As we go through this book there is a money that hangs inside that we can slide through the pages. In all of Eric Carle's books, the art is simple and creative. This story is very short, but has great points. Manners are used on every page with the monkey, which may provoke children to want to use them more. "No, thank you." Then, "yes, please!" is used to show excitement of getting a banana.
