The short poems are well illustrated, with three different colors of print, purple for "me" to read, pink for "you" to read and blue for "us both" to read. Each colored section has from one to four lines with two to four words. It is an easy read with short poems that don't extend more than two open pages. A highly recommended book. The book renders several stories in poetry from which all end with "you read to me, and I will read to you." The illustration uses really warm and delighted colors. These poems have words in rhythms, but these poems are lack of thoughtful meanings. It is a poetry because it does not explain a whole story. A lot of small and divided story compound this children book. It is a book about bears, mouses, little girls and others. A story can be read by two people. All of stories has the same rhythm which is like a song. It is a good book to develop the sense of teamwork. But sometimes the story is little dry. book for elementary The teacher in me loves this. ?áThe reader, maybe not quite so much. ?áThe stories aren't all that engaging (to me), much less memorable or meaningful. ?áI do like how the pictures help tell the story, though - basically, they serve as narration, because the text is the dialogue between the two reader-characters.
