Bennett was a master at conducting "theme meetings" and could draw out the most profound lessons from the most faltering of contributions. He helped people to see for themselves the practical core of the spiritual path and avoid the twin evils of doubt and philosophizing. First Liberation: The Sherborne Theme Talks, Volume 1, are taken from tape recordings of meetings at Sherborne House between 1972 and 1975. At present, we are able to publish only a small selection from the hundreds of tapes. More are forthcoming.
