This book is just okay, it is like all the other ones that this author writes, in my person opnion. ( )

If You Give a Mouse a Brownie is about a mouse and what would happen if you were to give a brownie. Examples of this is that the mouse will want a glass of milk, or a scoop of ice cream, and so on.

It was about a mouse and what happens when you give him a brownie. He imagines all this things we wants to do after he is given the brownie. Some of the activities are making a band, hanging up posters, going to the store, having a picnic, then going back for the brownie and the ice cream.

I took it out despite the children's librarian on duty said it wasn't ' her thing '. It was sweet as young children's literature, but I think in some ways it would resonate with a lot of adults too. Who doesn't know at least one person who ' you give an inch and he takes a yard ' ? Or beginning a house project only to find something needs doing before you can begin the project and once you do it, something else needs doing and on and on. ( )
