Nowhere in the world perhaps is the land and the life of the land as unspoiled and beautiful as in the far north of Kenya. It is at once the home of the hunts and nomads as it has always been, the home as well of an amazing and varied wildlife which, even today, few have seen. What is perhaps even more remarkable is that within this region there is a 1,000 square mile area which has provided the most significant evidence of mankind's origins. This is the country that the Leakey family has studied for decades.
