I enjoyed this one as well. I think my favorite part was that we got to know Jacob a little more and I really enjoyed Jacob and Bella’s friendship/relationship. Then when the action begins I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. I think this book was one of my favorites. I was beginning to understand the some of the fandom. I still don’t get all the hype around Edward, but I let it go. I can get the angst and sorrow that Bella felt when Edward left, but I wish there had been more realistic involvement from those around here. It just seemed totally unreasonable that some adult (teacher, parent) would step in when she went into a cycle of depression. I just kept waiting for someone to have told her to snap out of it. Overall, a solid book- enjoyed it and can’t wait to move on to the third book. ( )

di nuovo, la stellina in più è motivata dal fatto che lo stile dell'autrice è decisamente migliore di quanto ricordassi. il grande problema è la storia, e ora che sono più grande riesco a coglierne appieno le debolezze e i profili inquietanti.
in primo luogo, perché questo libro è così lungo? la mia edizione consta di 434 pagine, ma... è davvero assurdo. non c'è trama, per una buona metà non succede assolutamente nulla, gli eventi si ripetono e si ripetono, e, soprattutto, i personaggi non sono interessanti. forse per l'autrice è difficile accettarlo, vista la sua incapacità di staccarsi dalla saga, ma bella è una bambina incapace di stare da sola e priva di personalità; edward è un idiota afflitto da un grave caso di mascolinità tossica; jacob è l'unico personaggio decente, ma viene buttato via nel momento in cui diventa inutile ai fini della trama. la storia è debolissima, il "mistero" su cui si regge era evidente da pagina tre, e l'autrice se le inventa tutte per evitare il conflitto, al punto da diventare ridicola. e poi che noia, sembrava veramente non finire più. ( )
