At first I was a little scared of this book, not that I thought it would be bad but it was a new theme to me, but as I read it it became an instant favorite. Courtney is tired of the dating scene and wants to skip it all and go straight for marriage, white picket fence, etc. So she hires a matchmaking company to find her a husband who she won’t know anything about until she walks down the aisle. This turned out to be so so amazing that I could not put it down. At times Courtney did irritates me some because she could be so stubborn and determined to do things her way she couldn’t see others around her trying to help. The love story was unique but so endearing and the ending left me feeling so sad because I want these two to have their happy ending but they are about to face a world full of trials and tribulations. So will they stand and fight together or let the outside world break them apart? Can not wait for the second book. ( )

I really enjoyed this book.
It's a modern day arranged marriage theme but with a bit of a twist.
The heroine is determined to get married, she's fed up of dating, getting hurt so she is relying on a website who say they specialize in arranging matches.
In the time she decides this she meets the Hero.
I was a bit frustrated with the heroine's adamant conviction to continue on the path of the arrangement despite her feelings for the Hero, he isn't offering definite commitment but they don't know each other well enough for that. I thought he was quite reasonable wanting to see how things developed.
The Hero is a flirt, as tips are better, he's a bartender to subsidise his writing, but he never gets involved with anyone at work who he is flirting with.
He says he hasn't looked at a woman since he notices the heroine, they've know each other for a while, as bartender and customer, but he sees her in a new light, so we could assume there were other women but there are no details or definite situations mentioned except a reference to an ex who he now shares a house with along with her current boyfriend and others.
The heroine is over the dating game so we can assume she's had previous relationships but again there is nothing specific mentioned.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
It ends on a cliffhanger, though not a desperate one, the are issues on the horizon.
I can see him having ex drama in book 2.
It's an interesting concept as they know each other but also don't really know each other though there is a definite connection, both physical and in their interests.
It's well written.
Part 2 is out on may 2019 I believed so not long to wait.
There is also the potential of another book in the series about her friend who is very different with her and although there are no details it appears she goes home with different men and dates frequently. ( )

Very interesting premise to this story. It took me a little bit to get invested in the story but once they got married and the dynamics of the situation hit them I was all in.

I'm looking forward to the next story as they get to know each other. It will be interesting considering I knew all the ins and outs of the person I married. Considering we dated for YEARS and still ended up divorced a decade later I want to see how the author navigates around this for these two lovebirds. ( )
