The most profound, impactful, and important for me and my life issues book i've ever read. If i compare this to every book i've ever rated as 5 stars, then this book should be 8 stars.

Moreland begins by laying out the definitions and interactions between body, soul, and spirit in a way i've never heard explained before, and in a way that rings with truth and scriptural backing. He then explains how the body can impact the soul and how the spirit can impact the soul, and the need to address both body (physical reasons) and spirit together to achieve victory over anxiety and depression. He then speaks about medication, therapy, and meditative and prayer practices to accomplish all this. He uses himself as an example while also referencing scientific studies and writings as well as scripture as the basis for his suggestions.

It is not possible for me to recommend this book too highly. If you suffer from anxiety and/or depression (and he goes into how those two things are related), this is the book for you. ( )
