I received this book from The Library Thing in exchange for an honest review.
The book begins with the Veggie characters performing a Christmas show with the characters singing, playing a guitar, juggling or dancing. The story of Jesus’ birth is acted out as the last part of that show. The entire book is written in rhyme. The pages are colorful and full of activity and characters. The board book is sturdy and will stand up to young hands just learning to turn pages. I think young children will enjoy the book and story as well as being able to hold and turn pages themselves. I recommend this book. ( )

A perfect Christmas book for fans of Veggie Tales. All your favorite characters are there. In addition to a fun Christmas pageant, the story focuses on the real reason for Christmas. A great addition to a Christmas library for littles. ( )

I really liked how they told the story of Christmas through a holiday play. This book wasn’t overly religious and gave a general overview of the Christmas story, perfect for toddlers and those looking for a religious meaning of Christmas without getting into too many details. The illustrations were bright and colorful.
