Ho letto un comic davvero bello. Un comic che dovrebbero leggere tutti, non solo per capire meglio le persone che ci circondano e mostrare più empatia, ma anche per capire meglio se stessi.

In questo comic si parla del corpo femminile: dalle prime mestruazioni alla paura del parto; di uomini che fanno complimenti ed advances che lasciano il tempo che trovano. ( )

This (sorta) memoir is a collection of graphic essays published in a "Sex and the City" style column in some German periodical. The first essay is literally about the Sex and the City show, how much Klengel loves it and wants to live it and be Carrie Bradshaw. Other chapters cover body hair (removal and acceptance), choosing childlessness, heroes and heroines (featuring Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sailor Moon), female genitals (featuring a very intimate Mr. Spock), and Barbie dolls.

I wanted to like it, especially with all the nerdy references to some of my favorite fandoms (and sure, I'll include Barbie in that), but it really didn't offer much I haven't seen done better elsewhere, most recently in Cheeky: A Head-to-Toe Memoir. ( )
