I thought the duel POV characters and right way the story was told was super compelling and really liked the different point of views of both characters. I also found the "spell book element" to be super interesting and I really liked how it expanded the world. I was not as blew away by the mystery in this book, I thought it was easier to predict then her previous novel, but i adored the world and the setting of the wood. I also just liked the winter setting in general. The highlight of this book was the setting and the characters.
