Fiction. Romance. HTML:

An heiress without a cause. Two billionaires determined to claim her. And a war fought on the most dangerous battlefield - the heart.

My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan's harbor. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy. Instead he protects me with fierce determination.

That should have been my happily ever after, but then Sutton appeared - ruthless and seductive. He doesn't care that my heart belongs to someone else, because he's determined to win. No matter the cost.

It's an impossible choice, but I can't have them both.

I love Tanglewood. I don't think that I want to live there at all, but I do so love to visit through Skye Warren's books. And it's no different when it comes to Survival of the Richest. This book starts out at wow and ends up at OMG and twisted my heart all the way through. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the wait to see what's coming next. It will probably kill me.

Harper goes back and forth between her divorced parents, her very rich father, and her mother who keeps trying to marry to keep them in house and home. Every year, when she goes to visit her father, it seems like he has a new wife. This time, the new wife comes with a step-brother. When 15 year old Harper meets Christopher, she's perfectly happy to ignore him, they all know it's just a temporary connection. But when he saves her after she falls into the ocean, maybe it's not so temporary.

Eventually, things happen that leaves Christopher in charge of Harper's money until she turns 25, which leaves them butting heads and Harper feeling like she hates Christopher. When she goes to confront him, then explosions start to happen.

Oh man. Oh man. Oh man. The tension in this book. The triangle between Sutton, Christopher, and Harper is just so intense. I really wonder what Sutton's game is. I don't trust him any further than I can throw him. I pretty much want him to go straight to hell. But yeah, this is the kind of thing that Skye Warren does so well. It's really similar to what she did with Damon and Penny. It's always good to see a master at work. I can't wait until we see the next one. ( )

I miei poveri occhi...

---------------------

So...
Let's talk about this.
In reality, it would be better not to do it.
Let's not talk about it at all.
This should have been the review.
But I have a habit of defining "review" texts a little more intense, so in the end, I will speak.

The protagonist is the eighteen-year-old wealthier in the world but, because of a life a little like that, she disgusts the money. Now, I know very well that money does not buy happiness, but I am also of the idea that having it is not as disgusting as movies and books want us to believe. Call me a materialist, but to buy books you still need cash.

However, the protagonist suffers from lack of affection on the part of the father who accidentally dies of a heart attack leaving her the world, but with the clause that one of the boys who for a few minutes was the protagonist's half-brother manage her estate until she turns twenty-five.

Here he says the classic joke to get hated and she falls like a cooked pear.
If you think this is a spoiler, know that this is only the beginning of the story and that, incidentally, covers 40%.

Harper, the protagonist, is naive. Not to say stupid. She is convinced that threesome is only fantasy, that she will never fall in love with anyone because she knows that men and money always disappoint you and, coincidentally, she is in love - but she does not know - with Christopher, one of his half-brothers for rent.
Christopher, go and understand him. It's sweet and cute on the front pages and a patty asshole in the later ones. And there is not a real reason, because the integrity that he so much decants is only a mask.
But then Sutton appears the handsome farmer in a suit and tie, which melts the legs, and not only, of our Harper, who, in a blink of an eye is ready to give up her virtue.
Yes, you understood correctly.
Sutton is a non-existent character as a consistency; the only thing we know is that he loves the ropes - and I was already afraid of BDSM - and spank. He appreciates voyeurism and does not disdain polygamy.
And here I stop to praise the praises of these characters.

Let's talk about the plot instead. Because you say, there's must be a plot. And well, I would not be so sure if I were you. In fact, everything revolves around the demolition of an ancient library and to who will succeed in deflowering the beautiful Harper. The question of virginity comes soon (80%) resolved with a scene that people, I swear, I did not know whether to laugh or cry. I tell you only that the threesome would have been better.
I really, really wish I could spoil you the ending, because in addition to being no-sense as a plot, it's no-sense even about thoughts and the triangle thing stays there, without head or tail.

And the absurd thing is that it is not even the final ending because it is a duet, so in September there will be the final volume. ( )
