Brynn & Noah have lurked in the background on the other two stories but you could sense they were really getting to know each other. Brynn never felt like she fit in. She preferred quiet & time by herself & happily traveled on the path that others thought she'd like. She wasn't unhappy but couldn't say she was happy either. She was content with status quo & isn't willing to deviate from the plan. Until her dad changed the rules! Noah is too concerned with "taking care of everyone". Ever since his dad deployed & asked him to take care of the girls, Noah has taken that to mean doing things, like mowing the lawns, changing the oil, & fixing things. Brynn's dad has put Noah in charge of taking care of her, making her socialize. He's given him a list & Noah is taking it seriously. He's supposed to send her back to New York happy & content & he's determined that's what will happen. Noah & Brynn really are so much alike & they don't realize it. They both do things because they are told to. They both have anger hidden deep - Brynn because no one made an effort to get to know the real her & Noah because his friend didn't listen & died on him. They both needed to stop what they were doing & listen to what others had to say. I loved that when Brynn strayed from the path & found her own happiness it incorporated her chemistry & her new love, the pie shop. She found her place! When Noah started listening, he realized that there were other ways to take care of people. You can listen to them & help them express their emotions & wishes. They both had lessons to learn & lifestyles to change. This was the perfect conclusion!! sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

A friends to lovers romance...and then some. Run a pie shop with her sisters for a year. Date for the first time at age twenty-nine. Don't be terrified. Well, she's got the first thing under control at least. Mostly. But this is exactly what a best friend is for. Advice, pep talks, matchmaking, sex education... So what if her best friend is a guy? A very hot, tattooed, ex-Marine, mechanic guy? He's definitely well-versed in everything she needs to know. And she trusts him. Who better to teach her the man-woman stuff she's been missing out on? But there could be one tiny problem. The only person causing her any butterflies...and dirty dreams...is her matchmaker himself. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

This last book deals with the Brynn, the quietest of the three sisters. She was required to date 6 men in her time in Bliss but she had never been good at dating and was a 29 year old virgin. She is being helped by Noah a strong silent type who spends his life helping make others happy but never works to make himself happy.
The relationship between the two began in book 1 and has been growing throughout the 3 books. Their quite, friendly relationship is beautifully written - each of them put other's feeling before their own and it is difficult for either to try for their own happiness.
The epilogue of this book provides a final chapter to all 3 books and is beautifully written with a tearful Happily Ever After.
