We've been with LIzzie through a lot and every book is like a visit with old friends. Old friends who sometimes throw jars of sludge at you and kill demons on your lawn. Also there's the talking dog (Pirate forever!) and his pet dragon. And the griffins. There's always plenty of action and danger and at the end the day is saved.

These books are also about family. Remember the beginning? Just Lizzie and non-speaking Pirate, a tough relationship with her (adopted) parents, no grandmother in sight. Now she has so much family, a family that's gotten larger as the books progress. Behind all the action a great deal of this book was about Lizzie and Dimitri's future kids and how their addition to the family will make it better. Has already made it better through the actions of some in this book.

It's a pleasure to read this series. It gives me humor, monsters, and my favorite of all "found family" in one place.

I can honestly say this is one of my favorite series Lizzie and the gang never disappoint me. I always finish off each book with a smile on my face! This book was no different. Though there were times during reading I though I’d be a little sad at the end I totally wasn’t.

Lizzie has for sure stepped I a steaming pile of trouble this time. Trouble that’s way outta the gangs depth, or so they think. What started out as an innocent trip to visit Lizzie’s mother Hillary so that she could throw Dimitri a big birthday bash has ended up a possession no one quite knows how to handle. The need to exercise what they think is a demon without killing its host is real strong in this book so a gentler solution needs to be found. Can the gang exercise the demon from Hillary before she is gone forever is the burning question this book poses and it’s it really a demon or something else....

All the major players make an appearance in this book, and lots of big news is shared. It’s a great addition to the series and brings the series onto whole new path. I can’t wait to see if there are more great books in this series future!!

*I received this book in exchange for an honest review that does not change my opinion of this book*. ( )

In this 8th book of the series Lizzie the Demon Slayer, Dimitri (her griffin/hunky husband) along with the biker witches are heading back to Lizzie's home town for Dimitri's birthday. However, before they can get there her mom is taken over by a evil entity left in Lizzie's condo when she and the biker witches had to leave in a hurry and didn't get it properly warded. Now it's up to Lizzie, Dimitri and the biker witches to save her mom and herself. On top of everything, Lizzie finds out she's pregnant! There are quite a few twists and surprises to this story and I don't want to give them away. I loved the Cave of Visions that the witches create in this book. Several characters from the previous books in this series appear in this story along with a new witch, Phillipa that I liked. You'll also find the usual characters in this book including Lizzie's dog Pirate, and Flappy, Pirate's pet dragon.
This is one of my favorite series by this author. It's the first series I read by Angie Fox and I never grow tired of reading them. I highly recommend these books if you love paranmormal mysteries with some humor and romance thrown in. Who wouldn't love having a biker witch for a grandma and a talking dog with a pet dragon? ( )

What to expect when your Demon Slayer is Expecting.
Last in the Biker Witches Mysteries Series.

OMG! It’s the long awaited next episode & it’s the last one! :((
What can I say? I absolutely lost myself in this story & before I knew it? The End!
I enjoyed this book & the whole series so much that I’m now feeling very sad at its ending.
But all good things come to an end & this ended on a really lovely & happy note.

As usual there is lots of Slayer action, many (gross) spells, true love & a wonderful diverse family. Which just happens to include amongst others, a Gang of Biker witches, a Demon Slayer, a dragon, an adorable Jack Russell, a Griffon & an Angel! Mix them all together with the magic of Angie Fox’s story telling & you have the perfect magic spell for this page turning finale!

If you haven’t read any of the Biker Witches Mysteries yet I can’t advise you strong enough to download the whole series & binge, binge, binge. I promise you won’t regret it!

What to Expect When Your Demon Slayer is Expecting by Angie Fox

Eighth book in the Demon Slayer Biker Witch paranormal mystery series. There are almost as many novellas in this series as well. You can find the reading order on the author’s website. The books should be read in order.

The Demon Slayer is again fighting for her life against evil with the Biker Witches and family helping. Lizzie has come full circle with family and fighting skills. This latest evil takes all hands on deck.
Mostly dark because of the demons. Tense, mystery format with lighter moments provided by Pirate.

I love these continuing stories of the granny aged witches as a motorcycle gang and Lizzie’s success at fighting Demons but mostly inept witch skills. The whole jelly jar spell holder concept makes me want to start collecting them in case someday I have a need.

Excerpt because I love humor more than almost anything else in my reading:
“But the second Crazy Frieda’s motorcycle stopped next to me, Pirate leapt out of the sidecar like a dog on fire.
“Wow, what a ride!” he said, shaking off in a move that involved his entire body. He turned in a circle. “I broke my new bug-eating record! I love it, they just fly right into your mouth, and you don’t have to chase them or anything!”
Pirate was an energetic Jack Russell terrier, mostly white but with a dollop of brown on his back that wound up his neck and over one eye. Ever since I’d come into my powers, I’d been able to speak with my dog. In real sentences. In the beginning, I’d thought my new ability would enable me to at last crack the code on canine thoughts and behaviors. Now, I understood my dog mostly thought about bacon and beef jerky and pretty much any food besides the food I bought for him.”
Frieda winked at me and patted her stacked blond hair, miraculously unmussed from her silver and white motorcycle helmet. “I’ll go ahead and get the little baby a snack.” Frieda strolled for the main building, Pirate trotting at her side.
“Dog treats,” I called, “you know you want to be a good dog.”
“I heard her say hot dog,” Pirate remarked.”
