This trivia book is sure to teach you something new about Texas as it covers a wide range of topics from the state fair to movies to flags flown over Texas. It has fun tests at the end of each chapter to check your memory. Some people have mentioned a few errors in this book so it is best to treat this as a book for fun trivia and not as reference material for your PhD thesis on Texas. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. I would like to give this book more than 2.5 stars. It's full of fun little facts, but one serious error casts doubt on the integrity of the whole book.O'Neill says there are 4 Heisman trophy winners from Texas. There are 8, as a quick search online will prove. The first was Davey O'Brien from TCU. He was the fourth winner ever in 1938. Then there was Doak Walter from SMU in 1948. Third was John David Crow from Texas A&M in 1957. O'Neill claims that Crow was the first winner from Texas. Earl Campbell (Texas) got it in 1977, Andre Ware (Houston) in 1989, Ricky Williams (Texas) in 1998, Robert Griffin III (Baylor) in 2011, and Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M) in 2012. O'Neill left out O'Brien, Walter, Ware, and RG3. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
