I thought it was the prefect way to dive back into this world and give us a whole new story but still respect the other series and give nods to it. I just love the lead character so much and getting inside her head was such a fun experience. I loved the mixed cast of old characters and new and how they all balanced each other out. I thought the book was a fast pace adventure but such a solid mystery. I flew through his book and really hope we get future stories in this world because i just want to see more from these characters and this world. Also, this book left more unanswered questions than actually answered questions with that ending. Overall, I enjoyed the insight the book provided into the 'what happens next' from the original story but don't know think it has the same draw the original series had. That wasn't the case and we see the true aftermath from the original trilogy in this book. Also, it's really cool to see Zu all grown up and speaking out for all of the Psy kids. Honestly, I gave it a 4 star rating simply because I really do feel like there could be less cussing. But, as I've mentioned in previous reviews, that may just be my personal opinion. I just hate when I can't listen to a book with my son because they're dropping f-bombs left and right. The storyline, however, was as action packed and intense as all of the books in the series! There's even a little bit of romance in there. As far as who I recommend reading it, I'd say those who like Dystopian, Fantasy, Superpowers, and Action.
