I really liked this one. There's something about saying "Truck full of ducks" that is just so satisfying. Young readers will also enjoy this silly adventures of the dog's "Truck Full of Ducks" business. The repetition is great for storytime with early readers and teaching them about which trucks are used to transport what. ( )

This is a simple, wacky, and really fun book. A dog with a truck full of ducks has lost the delivery instructions. But he knows he will find the right people, he just has to stop and ask. While lots of trucks are mentioned in this book, it’s not really a truck book, and it’s not really a duck book, but it is quackers. The artist brings out the fun with lively and colorful illustrations. ( )

Would easily be my favorite silly picture book of the year, except for the questionable ending. Fun to read aloud with zany duck illustrations and creative details like the duck phone.

When the wacky ever-hungry ducks eat the delivery driver’s directions, how is he going to find his customer? He looks for anybody that might have ordered a truck of something. He finds everything from an alien that called for a tow truck for his space ship to someone who needed a duck removal truck. Who ordered the ducks? The answer is in the Deep Dark Woods...and there’s where it becomes problematic.

The idea is great… a scary animal, fox, actually just wants to have fun bath time with the duckies. BUT, this may trigger fears of molestation or sexual abuse in some. The idea that this is a business who delivers these little ones to the scary fox so he can get naked with them is alarming. There are other ways to end the story positively, maybe with a birthday party or something more innocent.
