Too short and has a focus of adult marriages, which is a little off for the audience. ( ) This is a charming and colorful set of tales. There should be more than three! That's my only complaint. This is great for kids who love fairytales or fables, and adults, too. I heard of this book through my beloved former professor's recommendation on the Comics Alternative podcast, and I second her glowing review. The Dragon Slayer is a collection of folktales from Latin America, in graphic novel format. "When we tell folktales, we pass on our ideas about history, art, spirituality, and proper behavior to a new generation. And when we hear folktales, we learn about the values and customs of our ancestors" wrote contributors Jaime Hernandez, F. Isabel Campoy and Alma Flora Ada. The appealing illustrations and limited text will make this book a hit with many young people, including even the most reluctant readers. Winner 2018 Aesop Prize. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
