This was another good one in the Texas Legacy series of Diann Mills. I like her portrayal of characters, the tension and suspense. ( )

Travis is grateful for the chance to start over as the new preacher at a Texas church. He hopes to escape the scandal of his past but faces a challenge with the beautiful widow Bonnie Kahler. He also faces temptation with the scheming Lester, who seems bound and determined to oust him from the church and have his own way with Bonnie. And then there is Zack, Bonnie's trouble son, who Travis hopes to reform. With all these obstacles will Travis and the Lord be able to set things right in the end?
This was an enjoyable read, but very run of the mill. If you like western historical romances with a faith element and can't get enough of them, then here is another one for you. ( )
