I loved this novella! Such an easy, light, sexy read that made me so happy to discover when I cruised over to the Free Stories page at www.tiffanyreisz.com. Keeping track of the free reads and new/upcoming releases keeps my Original Sinners habit going. I have to pace myself with her books but no matter how many times I read and re-read them, they still seem fresh. I hope it keeps up, since i am already on re-read 4 or 5 on some.

I am only writing this bit of a review to simply take the time to thank Ms. Reisz for the wonderful Halloween surprise that didn't announce itself months in advance making it that much harder to wait. I already look forward to Christmas, and wasn't expecting this. Thank you Mistress! ( )

What a great short story. I love the relationship between Nico and Nora, it’s so beautiful. What amazing gifts they gave each other in this tale. ( )

MISCHIEF is the latest novella of The Original Sinners series and a free Halloween treat from my Erotica Queen. Since this is such a short read, I’m going to try to keep this review rather short as well.

When Nora’s delicious new French lover admits he’s always wanted to experience an American Halloween she brings him to Salem, Massachusetts for a couple of days for some spooky, kinky, Halloween fun.

I was ecstatic to learn Reisz had released a Halloween novella featuring Nico and Nora. He didn’t appear in the The White Years nearly enough for my taste. And since he’s a new character, there really is no better way to provide more Nico then with a holiday themed short.

Ultimately, I enjoyed MISCHIEF. It was cute, sexy, and just what I needed to get into the holiday spirit. However, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting from my favorite Erotica writer.

Nico shows up in THE SAINT. He plays a large enough roll in the first book of The White Years but doesn’t appear much at all in the following three novels. He lives in France and shares a long distance relationship with his Mistress, so the distance is a factor.

It’s been six weeks since they saw each other last, their relationship is still new, and they don’t get nearly enough alone time together as the other couples in their happy poly family, so why the heck are you inviting a stranger into your kinky fun the day of your reunion?

*groans in frustration*

I wanted Nora and Nico time, not Nora, Nico, and strange sexy bartender time. Not that the spontaneous threesome wasn’t fun and entertaining, but I wanted more Domme/sub connection that you get with a happy couple bubble.

MISCHIEF is still a fun Halloween treat that Original Sinners fans and the Mistress Nora obsessed (such as myself) are sure to enjoy, just don’t expect much relationship development between Nico and his owner. ( )
