The perfect Girlfriend is about the most psychotic sociopath of a woman you will ever read about. So much so that at times the book is funny. Juliette doesn’t have a single stable cell in her body. If you ever meet someone and they say they felt sympathy for her and what happened to her...run! Change your locks, move, change your name even. The fact that a woman wrote this book makes it more believable.

See, this could have made a really great statement about rape culture and about judgmental bullies. But it didn't. And that's sad.

Too long. If it had been shorter and snappier, it could have been interesting, or if it had been published five years ago before we were all tired of the same repeated lines. I loved the flight attendant aspect, but that wasn't unique enough to make it great. ( )

Like, I got through it wanting to know what happened. But it was still fairly predictable yet overly convoluted and soooooo unrealistic. ( )

Totally, frighteningly creepy but it's a book you just can't put down as you wonder what, what, WHAT is going to happen next? I'm impressed with how much the author did to make you feel that you were right there watching this woman's mind plan and carry out such an incredible series of events. This was the author's first book so I'm delighted that there are more of her work waiting for me to read.

I just read some of the other reviews and yes, the story starts off slowly but when you realize the complexity Hamilton managed to create and then keep track of the interrelationship of all the parts---it certainly sped up as the book progressed! ( )

I started this on a road trip and should have stayed with my initial feelings around this one. This started off pretty good, but as soon as the prologue was over, it lost me. This was so slow. There was absolutely nothing happening. I was going to DNF, but listened to so much of everything that I thought something huge was about to happen. However; it just dragged and dragged. It veered off on some side stories that did not bring anything to the main plot and did not add any excitement. I was expecting the ending to blazing, and it was also very tame. The story also just ends. There is really no resolution at all.

I should have stuck with my initial thoughts and DNF this one. Sadly, it was not for me. ( )
