Six months have passed since the United Nations voted for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine and the territory was divided into two nations, one Arab and one Jewish. Finally, the day has come when the new State of Israel is to be proclaimed. Tension is high, as this is also the day when British troops will ceremonially hand over the key to Zion Gate and depart. They will leave Jewish and Muslim forces that have been fighting for months over control of a holy city they all are willing to die for. Has the battle only just begun?NOTES: Purchased online from CBD. SUBTITLE: The First Book in the Zion Legacy Series This was a book that at first reading I kinda felt like it was going on and on and on... but then I realized that I was already half way through the book in a really short period of time. It is definitely not a book for those who are sensitive about war. But I do believe that it is a book for Christian, Jew, and Muslim alike. It shows the good and the bad in all. It's a good read and as an introduction to the Thoene's way of writing, a pull to read other novels as well. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
