From growing up in a small town in Texas to reporting on some of the biggest stories of the last century. ( ) I'm not exaggerating when I say there were a couple of times I teared up while reading this. I wasn't expecting his perspective (I guess because of his age and my experience with people in that generation and their politics) and a lot of what he talked about was what I have been thinking about lately. I say this a lot when I finish reading certain books, but I think we would benefit tremendously as a country if everyone took the time to read this or at least discussed some of the principles in this book.
