Carregando... Battle Magede Peter A. Flannery
![]() Nenhum(a) Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. Best sword and sorcery I've read in some time. Great characters, dragons, lots of battles and lots of surprises. ( ![]() Thought maybe a good series would be a good choice and decided this would be a good pick. I liked the idea: it sounded like a story that resembled Skyrim plus a finding oneself tale with high fantasy. Would Falco find himself? Would he conquer enemies, save the world, yadda yadda? Only way to find out was to read this 600+ tome. Honestly? It was awful. The first few chapters had promise: setting up Falco, his life, background and his journey. Then it becomes Skyrim crossed with 'Game of Thrones': an absurdly long cast of characters who pop in and out with too many descriptions of battles, fight training, etc. I had no idea who many of these characters were, why they were important and even the actual plot by the end. The book is too long, needed better editing or should have been broken up into a trilogy, perhaps. Luckily I borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited and would recommend one borrow the book that way. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
An infernal army on the march. An unholy demon at its head. The one person who can stop it is a weakling nobody trusts.
Falco Dante knows only guilt. The son of a traitor, the sickly young man yearns to fight like the heroes of old. Instead, he earns further shame when he interrupts a dragon summoning, allowing a demon horde to destroy his town.
Desperate to make amends, Falco enters the Academy of War in the hope of becoming worthy to defend the kingdom. And though he begins to unlock the magic within, the would-be champion fears it won't be enough to defeat an invincible foe.
Can Falco escape his family's legacy and forge a destiny to save the realm from eternal darkness? Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
