Wow Elly Blake has done it again. Loved this sequel and enjoyed seeing all the loved characters from the 1st book. Still has plenty of twists and turns to keep you glued to the pages. I would really recommend the series to anyone. ( )

Ruby eagerly accepted and is now training to be a FireBlood master where she will then be under the Queens rule and there will be no escape back to Tempasia. She now fights her feelings for Prince Kai and feels a patch of betrayal growing inside of her heart for Arcus.
Who will she choose, Kai or Arcus and will she choose to face execution for trying to escape or will she stay and be under the queens rule? Only time will tell.

When I picked up fireblood I thought it looked interesting but I did not think I would read it. I was informed that the book was a series of three books and I wanted to read the first one. I read frostblood and then I read fireblood and I was practically dying without the third book and I still do not have it so I thought that I would tell you about the other books. Frostblood was very romantic and very full of action and the fact that Arcus was so secretive and cold before and he did not want to break down shocked and it shocked me how much he fell in love with Ruby. I loved every moment of each book they were so intriguing and magical. The way that Ruby was so cold to Arcus and that moment that she came into the library and he let his guard down enough to touch him it just surprised me so much that he was actually such a gentle creature. He was eventually crowned king as the lost heir which just killed me and what is not great is that the author leaves you on a cliffhanger. This is definitely the best book series that I have ever read so far in my very young life. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy romance and action. ( )

Fireblood will keep you frozen in place until the last page and then leave you burning for more, and damn I was mad when I realised that the next week is still a month away.

Ok so the first book I was all like Arcus is the one be with him then at the start of this book I was No be with Kai and now I I just dont know. Love Triangle at it's best.

Can not wait to read the next book to see how it all pans out for all the beautiful characters in this series. ( )

In the beginning of this book, Ruby is living in a frostblood palace under the roof off her boyfriend -Arcus- the new king. But she is not accepted in the court because she is a fireblood. During a ball That was organized by Arcus, Ruby met Kai disguised as someone famous from the fireblood court. He gave her a ring so she could go aboard a ship that was going to the Fireblood kingdom. After weeks on that boat, she met the queen and after a long argument she managed to take special trials. These special trials would prepare her to become a master and melt the Fire throne. After a few weeks to prepare she did the first trial, which was to break down ten doors while being chased by lava. After almost dying, her second trial was too not melt the slab off ice she was sitting on. This time she almost died from scorpion bites. After that she had a month too rest. During that month, she got closer too Kai and he told her what his 3 trial was before he failed it. When the time came too take her trial, She almost died off shock. Kai’s trial was too propose to her and hers was too accept. Off course she did but that day she found out that she is the queen's niece. But on Kai and Ruby’s wedding day, Arcus came and ruined it. After a week off being locked up the prince helped Ruby rescue him. When they reach the Fire throne Arcus and Ruby melt it but then the Mimax appears expect in the form off Melisa. Then after that huge fight Userus takes over the prince and runs into a portal. After all off that Ruby, Kai, and Arcus go too chase him.
I think that this book was was too confusing. It always changed the subject at random time. The good thing about this book is that the plot was very good. I made me feel like I could never put it down. Probably my favorite part is when Kai proposed to Ruby. This is my favorite part because it surprised her. She was too stupid to realize that he was crushing on her. ( )
