Wow! Scrag a hero: what a brilliant turn of events! A good writer doesn't depend on her characters, the characters depend on her. They have to be sparkling, creative and strong enough to keep surprizing.... and I admit, he wasn't growing anymore. Or, that is not entirely true, he was growing, but in a way that made him loose the core of his creation in the first place. The perspective of having Jeffrey clean up the s**t in diapers and Sara's mom to send her daughter on a guilt trip because that should be her job.... Thanks Karin, for saving us that! ( )
A great read for fans of the series (for the most part). Lots of secrets are disclosed about Lena, who plays a major part in this story. As usual, she gets into lots of trouble, which is becoming too common. A lot of unexpected plot twists in this one.
Fortunately for me, I had started reading the Will Trent series a while back, so I was ready for the ending, although I didn't know when it would happen. Well, it finally happened, and life goes on in the real world. ( )
