(  ) Lashea677 | Feb 16, 2019 | A sweet little quick read. This novella is the second in the series and a good way to check out the series to see if you will enjoy it. I read it in less than an hour, but the author really got a lot into these pages. It is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last. I enjoyed how the main female character was written, and since I have felt the same way she was feeling in the book I really felt I understood her. It could be considered Instalove, but the characters have known each other for quite awhile. While not the best thing ever it is still a good book, and I definitely want to finish the series. I loved the sweetness, and the racy scenes. But the best was his offer....no spoilers. Just an awesome little romance novel not to be missed. Second book in the series but stands alone easily. Of course, after this "happily ever after", I want to backtrack and read the first book. Now. Excerpt: "She'd ignored his call, instead texting him back telling him she'd be here, keeping her text vague. The woman was hot and cold and driving him crazy. And okay, he liked the chase. A lot.
