Baby Brain was a little too smart for his own good, but no matter how smart you are, sometimes you just want your mommy. This book takes you through the very short life of Baby Brains and his amazing accomplishments even only days old. From a doctor to an astronaut he can do it all, but we have to remember, he is a just a baby. I feel like this book is saying take your time growing up, there is always time to be a doctor, cherish being young, loved, and taken care of. ( ) I absolutely loved everything about this book! The main reason why I loved this book is because of the illustrations. Without the illustrations, this story could have gone either way. Meaning, if the illustrations were boring and not detailed then it would be hard for the reader to picture an image of a cute little baby and his family. Every sentence of the story was represented by an illustration of the baby. The twist to this story has a big effect on the readers feelings because in the beginning baby brains is able to do all these different types of grown up activities, but as soon as he has to leave his mother, the story twists again where baby brains only wants his mother. “…from that day on, baby brains spent most of his time at home, doing the things that most babies do”, but then again the last page of the story flips the twist again by saying, “except, that is, on the weekends…when he still liked to help out at the local hospital”. When the author twists the story one last time, it leaves the reader giggling. The story line is very silly and appealing to all ages because it is creative. The main message of this story is to embrace your youth. Do not waste your life doing too much. There is more to life than growing up, so take your time and enjoy the moments. Art Media: Watercolor and Ink. This book is a great example of a modern fantasy because the situation is believable...the parents want to have a really smart baby so they are doing all these things in order to increase their child's knowledge but what makes it a fantasy are the unbelievable things Baby Brains is actually able to accomplish. Such as being in college by the time he is days old! The situation is very real but the baby's accomplishments make this silly story a fantasy. Character: The main character, Baby Brains, is essential to the story because without him being an infant, all of his accomplishments would not have been that big of a deal. Baby Brains is able to do amazing things and at the end of the story he solves all of his problems by returning home to his roots, mommy and daddy. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Even though the new baby of Mr. and Mrs. Brains is very intelligent, they realize that he is still just a baby. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
