Each page features pictures of objects of a specific colour. A peek-a-boo hole with a sliding card slides one object out so that the child can look at it in a different colour (eg: red apple - now slide the tab - green apple!) This is a wonderful aide to introducing vocabulary, as it makes it clear to the child that 'green' represents the colour rather than the object itself. My son thinks this book is wonderful.
